MCUSD 223 Partners With Paper for 3 New Ways to Better Serve Students

Written by Paper | August 16, 2021

Paper welcomes its newest Illinois partner district, Meridian Community Unit School District 223.

This partnership grants 750 students in grades 6-12 unlimited, 24/7 access to high-dosage tutoring.

Meridian Community Unit School District 223 is a public school district located in Stillman Valley, IL. It has 1,586 students in K-12, with 27% qualifying for free or reduced lunch.

The ability to find a partner that can provide 24/7 on-demand support for our students allows us to better serve them in multiple ways. First, a student no longer ever has to feel helpless at home when working through difficult concepts.

Second, we are utilizing a service that mimics the communication modalities that our students are most familiar with. Lastly, this is a tool that supports teachers as well as students as all interactions are shared so that teachers can gain different perspectives on how individual students may learn best.
