We're thrilled to share the exciting news of Paper's partnership with the Tucson Unified School District! This collaboration is set to revolutionize academic support for students at Sabino High School and select participants from HEART Cares, Asian Pacific, and Refugee Student Services.
With Paper's Educational Support System, students now have access to on-demand, 24/7, and multilingual homework help, study support, and writing feedback from professional tutors—all at zero cost to families. Students can also prepare for their futures after graduation with academic institutions research and explore professional workforce certifications for an array of careers.
The suite of tools spans grade levels and subjects, ensuring that students receive personalized assistance wherever they are in their academic journey.
Dr. Kinasha Brown, Assistant Superintendent of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusiveness, says,
"Choosing to partner with Paper has proven to be the optimal decision for TUSD's Equity, Diversity, and Inclusiveness (EDI) department. Among its top priorities is delivering academic and social-emotional support to unleash the full potential of every learner in the district. The availability of quality high-dosage tutoring anytime, anywhere is set to be a transformative game-changer for our students."
Kevin Amidan, Principal of Sabino High School, added, “Sabino is a high achieving, diverse school that has 75% open enrolled students with 65% of them participating in an extracurricular activity. Our students travel from all areas of our county, thus limiting their time allotment for tutoring and study time.”
The Sabino High School Principal added,
“Paper has given our students the option to seek support 24/7 which will lead to improved student achievement and growth due to their deeper understanding of the content and ability to build on their foundational knowledge. Having this unlimited access to support on classroom content and standardized test prep that can be done around travel time and extracurricular involvement will help assist our students in reaching their highest potential.”
