Paper launches new teacher tools for back-to-school

Jul 25, 2024 10:03:29 AM

Today, Paper announced an exciting addition to its educational platform: the Teacher Assign suite, a comprehensive set of tools designed to support teachers with classroom management. This new suite is complemented by a seamless integration with Google Classroom, making it even easier for educators to assign and review written work within a familiar environment.

The Teacher Assign suite is crafted to help teachers streamline their workflows and provide detailed insights into student progress.

Key features include Pulse Questions, which generates targeted quizzes to identify learning gaps, Review Center Assign for leveraging Paper’s tutor base for initial assignment reviews, and Live Help Assign, which directs students to Paper’s professional tutors with the necessary context to aid their success.

“Pulse Questions will allow teachers to focus less on the input and more on the output, helping to identify gaps more effectively. The AI-generated content is aligned with common core standards, enabling teachers to dedicate their energy to differentiating instruction and closing those gaps, rather than just identifying them.” - Darius Newton, Special Ed Lead Teacher at Atlanta Day Public Schools Charter

“I’m starting my year off with Paper, which is going to be like another person in my classroom. The more I can leverage the benefits of Paper, the more time I have to find deeper and richer content for my students. I’m a passionate teacher who spends hours thinking about the next direction I’m going to go in, so I could use Pulse Questions to find topics that are relevant to students and also match the standards of what I’m trying to teach.”

- Jennifer Phillips, 6th-Grade ELA, ELD, PE, and Social Studies teacher at Santa Clara School District
