During a single Fall 2025 GROW high-impact tutoring season, 77 students across three elementary schools and one middle school in J.O. Combs received targeted math support focused on strengthening foundational skills and rebuilding academic confidence.
In one program cycle, overall proficiency rates more than tripled, while 8th grade math scores increased from 50% to 72%. Students across grade bands also posted meaningful gains through consistent, curriculum-aligned small-group tutoring.
