Chicago's Franklin Park District were experience gaps in students’ academic progress and social/emotional learning, which were widened even further in the wake of Covid. Busy families and teachers didn’t have the extra hours at the right times of day to help students in need.The district sought a whole-student approach that would provide academic support to students of all ages as well as English learners.
