In Belleville Township High School District 201, which is located in the Metro East region of Illinois outside of St. Louis, 4,420 students will now have access to 24/7 tutoring through Paper™.
The districtwide initiative was announced on the heels of an initial partnership in which 138 students received Paper licenses through their participation in the AVID college and career readiness program.
Melissa Taylor, the district’s assistant superintendent for student services, explained that officials were so pleased by the initial rollout that they sought to grow the relationship with Paper. What do they expect will result from expanding the partnership? Administrators believe that all students in their schools could benefit from the additional academic support.
