Bay Area learners get a boost with Paper™

For 1,000 students in Northern California’s Brentwood Union School District (BUSD), additional academic support is just a click away with Paper™.

Specifically, learners in grades six through eight at Edna Hill Middle School (EHMS) are the latest beneficiaries of Paper’s innovative Educational Support System.

In this East Bay community located about 55 miles from San Francisco in Contra Costa County, BUSD Director of Curriculum and Instruction Michael Bowen sees promise in round-the-clock support provided by Paper.

“We are very excited in BUSD to be able to offer live tutoring sessions to all of our students at Edna Hill Middle School. This opportunity will allow the EHMS students to receive outside-of-school support 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”

— Michael Bowen, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Brentwood Union School District, California

With this announcement, BUSD joins a growing roster of districts across California that have recognized the value of providing students with access to high-quality tutoring and more from Paper. In fact, Paper partnered with the South San Francisco Unified School District, a Bay Area neighbor, to help support equity efforts.
